The East Bay Chapter of the Financial Planning Association offers many benefits to those entering the financial planning profession. If you're a student, CFP® certificant, or career transitioner, we have events and opportunities to engage you with financial planning professionals and expand your industry knowledge through educational and social networking events.


East Bay Chapter Activities - We hold monthly educational events, social networking events, pro bono activities, and an annual golf tournament.

FPA East Bay Scholarship

The Scholarship, valued at $1500, is available to FPA East Bay Members who are candidates pursuing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification or are enrolled in a financial planning program and are motivated to obtain the CFP® designation.

The scholarship is awarded each fall with applications due November 1 and the awards announced at our December meeting.

Study groups are rapidly becoming a best practice for financial advisers who want to grow their practices, network with colleagues, and receive and give mutual support.  FPA East Bay currently has several groups to meet the various interest of our members.
