The Financial Planning Association of Long Island members are supported by a number of exceptional sponsors who help offset the cost of delivering benefits. These sponsors are helping to lead FPA’s message of building the community of the financial planning profession, with their commitment to the association, its mission and its members.
The FPA of Long Island offers you the opportunity to partner with our association over the course of an entire year rather than by each single event. Details are available in the Corporate Partnership Package. The Benefits at a Glance page explains quickly the differences between the Platinum, Gold and Silver levels. We believe the Platinum Package offers the best value. For $2,995 you will receive an exhibit booth and attendee list for the annual Symposium (our average attendance at Symposium is 270 and we already have 100 signed up for 2012); and an opportunity to sponsor and provide a presentation at one monthly membership meeting and have a booth at two additional monthly meetings. Added this year the Platinum Plus Partner can provide the Keynote Speaker for the Opening General Session or the Luncheon; and the Platinum Partner can provide a Break-Out Session Speaker. The FPA of Long Island Partnership Packages are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the 2012 speakers are planned between December 2011 and March 2012.

The financial professionals you will meet through the FPA of Long Island chapter can help you build long-term business relationships. FPA of Long Island has almost 500 financial professionals in the Long Island area representing a broad spectrum of specialties including financial planning, broker dealer services, insurance/annuities, mutual funds, banks/thrifts/trust law, investment management and accounting. Members are a highly targeted market for your product or service.
The chapter holds regular chapter meetings that provide attendees with continuing education credits.
Speaking to this group gives you a targeted audience that is open to hearing your message. Members who attend are there to learn new information and network before and after meetings. It’s an excellent time to collect business cards for follow-up marketing. Members are continually looking for information on new products and services to meet their clients’ needs.
The chapter sends its members and prospects (approximately 1,200 financial professionals) a bi-monthly newsletter that contains information about upcoming meetings, chapter public relations activities, practice management information, national educational opportunities and more. Members tell us it is the one periodical they are sure to read. This means that your marketing insert and/or advertisement in the FPA of Long Island’s The Planner will be noticed and read.
The Chapter values its membership list highly and does not sell the mailing list to the general public. Therefore, our members are not flooded with marketing materials related to their chapter membership. So depending on your level of sponsorship, chapter members tend to read mailings because they are receptive to the information and marketing message.
