SELCO Financial Solutions Sales Assistant


SELCO Community Credit Union is looking for a full-time SELCO Financial Solutions Sales Assistant to join SELCO Financial Solutions.

The successful candidate will provide clerical support to SELCO Financial Solutions and Financial Consultants. Must have at least two (2) years professional office experience, and an Associates Degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent experience. FINRA Registered Series 6 and 63 will be required within one year.    The position will close March 9th.

MCS Financial Advisors

MCS Financial Advisors is an independent, privately owned, fee-only wealth management firm in Eugene, Oregon. MCS specializes in providing hard-to-break wealth management strategies for high-net-worth clients.  Currently, the firm is looking for a skilled administrative support person with initiative and an interest in working in the financial industry to fill the position of Client Services/Marketing Support Administrator.

This position will be responsible for administrative support tasks and responsibilities for MCS Financial Advisors’ staff and clients.  Additionally, the incumbent will be expected to obtain the skills and education necessary to become a paraplanner for the firm in order to help the firm achieve its service goals and objectives.  

Primary duties for the position include:

  • Administer AUM (Assets Under Management) accounts for clients, which includes addressing customer inquiries and problems; completing custodian forms for client account openings, changes, distributions, features; acting as liaison between client and custodian to fulfill client needs.
  • Execution of marketing programs, including mail campaigns, online surveys, referral initiatives, and event management.
  • Organization and management of office operations and procedures such as front desk, personnel, information management, filing systems, requisition of supplies, and other clerical services.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks which may include general housekeeping, mail distribution, faxing, filing, client or office errands, etc.
  • Maintain and update client relationship management (CRM) and marketing databases as needed.
  • Entry level financial planning/paraplanning.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and experience:

  • AA/AS degree in Business Management, Office Administration, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of related experience in the financial industry or closely related; additional experience may substitute for the degree requirement.  Must pass Series 65 Exam (administered by FINRA) within 90 days of hire.  Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
