The purpose of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Greater Cincinnati is to provide quality and objective financial planning advice to those in our community. Financial planning has different meanings to various people, and nearly anyone can call themselves a financial planner.

FPA of Greater Cincinnati recognizes the importance of having the best advisors possible serving the public as trusted and highly competent professionals fulfilling the financial planning needs of the people of our community. Proficiency and ethics are paramount for those relying on professional guidance to attain and sustain financial security.

Since financial planning and achieving financial security involves so many different elements, our chapter members examine an individual's situation from a holistic point of view. This often includes most or all of the following: retirement planning, investment management, insurance needs analysis, tax planning, estate and family wealth planning, education savings, and business succession planning.

Our chapter meetings for members and non-members deal with today's ever-changing landscape of economic cycles, laws, financial markets, and the steady stream of new investment and insurance products. Along with other educational sources and certifications such as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®) designation, we strive to maintain our standing as the best financial planners and advisors in the Greater Cincinnati area.
