Volunteer Workgroups

Communities of Interest Advisory Group — Was established to help FPA troubleshoot issues that arise through the establishment of Communities of Interest, Public Discussion Groups, and the rollout of FPA Community Building, the new online discussion platform. The group is aiding in the development of policies and procedures, defining roles for all users and criteria for various functions. Staff liaisons: Julie Massaro and Christine Richardson

Consumer Advisory Group — Provides overall strategic advice to FPA staff on the consumer market development goals and initiatives, focusing on strengthening FPA's brand, connecting members with consumers who want help, serving consumers by helping them identify and address their financial planning needs and creating programs to address member expectation of business development assistance. Staff liaison: Lori Dille

Major Firms Advisory Team — Gathers to discuss issues of interest to executives who are corporate level executives, directors and vice presidents responsible for overseeing financial planning as a strategy, managing financial planning departments or business units, or managing financial planning sales, marketing, compliance, education and/or operations functions.
