Born and raised in Cerritos, California, Brittney was instilled with a strong sense of giving back to the community by observing her father, a
Los Angeles Police officer, and her stay at home mother, a
philanthropist volunteering at various organizations. Brittney’s
financial training began in high school while working multiple jobs.
She quickly learned that her money should work as hard for her as she
was working for it and she started to invest on her own. Continuing her
fascination with finance, she attended the University of California,
Santa Barbara graduating with a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Economics
and a minor in Sports Management.
Brittney began her career at Ameriprise Financial, renowned in the
industry for their financial planning training. It was there she worked
with a senior partner and excelled as a financial advisor, developing a
keen ability to analyze and solve problems for clients and mastering
intricate financial planning strategies. In 2010 she took the next step
in her career by joining Perennial Financial Services and LPL
Financial, where she continues to provide her clients with unbiased,
independent financial advice and has access to a broad array of
financial products and services.
In 2011, Brittney received the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)
designation from the CFP Board of Standards. The CFP® designation is a
mark of distinction for the individuals who have met the education,
examination, experience and ethics standards established by the
Certified Financial Planners Board of Standards (CFP Board).
Additionally, Brittney holds series 7 and 66 registrations, is an
Investment Advisor Representative with LPL Financial, and has a
California Insurance license. She also maintains her designations as a
Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Accredited Asset Management
Specialist.
Brittney is extremely involved in her community and is an active
member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Step Up
Women’s Network, the Financial Planning Association and she serves as a
Board Member for The Mulligan Project, a nonprofit organization serving
disabled children in Vietnam. She has a passion for educating
individuals on financial topics and is a sought after speaker for
various groups and organizations. Brittney currently resides in the Los
Angeles area and enjoys dancing, traveling, and leading a healthy,
active lifestyle.
