Martin D. Koosed is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) with Summit Financial Consultants, Inc., a full-service financial planning firm with offices in Trumbull, Connecticut and Yonkers, New York, since 1997.  Previously, Mr. Koosed was a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®)with Ameriprise Financial in Fairfield County, CT. 

Mr. Koosed has achieved the highest awards from numerous national companies including Oppenheimer Funds, MFS, Jackson National Life and Lincoln Financial. He has consistently received recognition as a top advisor with Cadaret, Grant & Co.

Since 1991 Mr. Koosed has helped individuals, families and small businesses achieve their financial goals and dreams. Along with his professional practice, Mr. Koosed conducts seminars on issues ranging from retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning to investment planning at corporations and organizations throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties.

In addition to the designation of Certified Financial Planner™ from College for Financial Planning, Mr. Koosed holds state insurance and securities licenses and is a licensed Investment Company / Variable Contracts Principal. He received a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Illinois.
