Our firm specializes in personal financial planning, investment management, tax planning, and retirement plan services. Experience

Laura West is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and holds a license as a certified public accountant with the state of Iowa. She is an active member of the Financial Planning Association of Iowa and is a passionate leader in community development.

Laura graduated from the University of Iowa in 1995 with a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting. Laura began her working years as a CPA working for KPMG, a global accounting and tax firm located in Des Moines, Iowa. Before forming West Financial Advisors, LLC she held various corporate finance roles with one of Iowa’s largest and most respected companies, Pioneer Hi-Bred International.

Life-long learning is an important value held by Laura and she recently earned her masters in Family Financial Planning from Iowa State University. Laura takes the time to truly listen to clients and understand their unique circumstances. She enjoys helping people unlock their dreams and establish plans for their life goals. She believes everyone can learn how to grow & protect their wealth.
