I have been in practice since 1983. I have a very varied clientele, but they tend to be very responsible; they are successful in their careers; and they have an interest in planning for their future. I work with closely-held businesses, and with individuals with corporate or professional careers. First and foremost to a client relationship is a meeting to better understand their circumstances, responsibilities, financial obligations, and their financial goals and objectives. Typically, a second meeting will provide my client with a written analysis that addresses their top priorities, with an outline of plans and suggestions that would help them achieve their plan. Once a plan is approved, the client is guided through an implementation process, and kept informed throughout the entire period. Following implementation, the normal routine is to maintain semi-annual, if not quarterly client contact with a recommendation for an annual face-to-face review and plan update.

Career
I originally started my career in the corporate world, with extensive corporate accounting and finance experience. I later moved into a general management role which strengthened my desire to establish my own business.
In 1983, I became a financial advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. I have been able to make use of my corporate background to apply the principles of planning a successful business to the work that I do with my individual and corporate clients.
I have acquired my certification as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), as well as obtained recognition as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).

Married to Cindy since 1973
Two children: Nathan - owner of Delack Media Group, married to Morgan in 2010; Ryan - Proctor & Gamble Plant Finance Manager, married to Julia in 2006
