Dave Laurion is a Certified Financial PlannerTM with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. Since 1981, he has worked with individuals, families, business and non-profit organizations to help them achieve their financial goals. He sees his role as that of the financial steward of old, tending to the financial well being of his clients in order to simplify their lives and give them peace of mind.

A graduate of Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dave originally prepared for pastoral or counseling ministry, but found that his specific knowledge and interest in the financial planning industry made him uniquely suited to this work. He earned his Certified Financial PlannerTM designation in 1986 and has built a career of broad experience, understanding and creativity that are an asset to those he serves. A gifted teacher, he is able to make the often confusing and complex universe of finance accessible to every client. Dave finds that meeting the challenges and seeing the rewards when people achieve their goals and dreams is very satisfying.

Dave is sought as a speaker, teacher and leader in both state and national professional organizations. He has served as a member of the National Association for Financial Planning Practitioner Advisory Board. Dave has also served as President of the Minnesota Chapter of the International Association for Financial Planning. He has taught for the Minnesota State University Mankato Certified Financial PlannerTM program and Edina and Bloomington Community Education. He was selected as a speaker for The Academy of Finance and has been quoted in local and national news and publications. Dave's talk “What Pigs Carrying Baseballs Have To Do With Investment Success” has been the most highly rated session at the Minneapolis Star Tribune Personal Investment Forum for three years in a row.

Dave has clients living and working in nearly a dozen countries around the world.
