About My Practice
The focus of our firm is low and medium net worth clients, but we are certainly capable of advising high net worth clients. Public school teachers are approximately half my client base. The other half of my practice is clients from additional resources. Many clients come from referrals.
Most assets are held in tax shelter accounts such as: IRA, Roth IRA, 403(b), or SIMPLE IRA plans. Coverdell Education IRA is my college funding plan of choice.
Tax planning is a valuable tool to determine much of what a client should do.
Once a financial plan is established, there should not be much to change if done properly.
Social Security planning needs to be an important part of overall planning and is often over looked. Consider delaying Social Security benefits until age 70 if possible. Let me show you why.
Yes, I do like to fish and often hold client meetings on my boat, the "Floating Office". Sometimes catching fish does get in the way of our important business meetings, but we find a way to survive. Talking about values and what is important is part of my financial planning practice.
Helping current and former US Military service members is a big part of my practice. (8 Years service in US NAVY rank E-3 to O-2.)
