As the President and Wealth Advisor for Parks Wealth Management, Jim has over 20 years experience in assisting a variety of clientele, including business owners, executives, growing families, inheritors of wealth, and retirees. Jim has formed relationships with industry leading money management firms, estate planning professionals and tax specialists to help ensure a comprehensive approach to pursue his clients' objectives.

Jim is a Registered Securities Principal with LPL Financial, a registered investment advisor and independent broker/dealer. Financial Planning Magazine has named LPL the "#1 independent broker/dealer in the nation" for the past 17 years in a row (based on revenues, June 1996-2012). He has been recognized for providing exceptional client service as a member of LPL's Patriot's Club, comprising the top 9% of LPL's more than 13,000 independent investment professionals.

Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College and obtained his designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® from Boston University.  He is an Accredited Estate Planning Professional (AEP) and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). Jim holds his Series 6,7,24,63 and 65 registrations for securities in 18 states through LPL Financial. He has been quoted in numerous publications including The Ridgewood News, Bankrate.com, NewJerseyNewsRoom.com, Investment News, The Daily Record.com, Minyanville.com, and ParamusPost.com.

Jim serves on the Public Relations Committee for the NJ chapter of the Financial Planning Assocation (FPA).  He is a Board of Director of The Ridgewood NJ Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Greater NJ Estate Planning Council since 1996, where he served as President (2001-2003) and Secretary (1999-2001).  Jim also co-chairs the Ridgewood Golf Classic, a fundraiser for the Ridgewood Chamber Scholarship Fund, and the North Haledon "Rock and Run for Education 5K" to raise money for the North Haledon Education Foundation and PTO.

Jim resides in North Haledon, NJ with is wife, Felicia, who serves as the Director of Client Services and Operations.  They have three children, twins Daniel and Amanda, and younger son, Christopher.  Jim enjoys golfing and triathlon races.  He recently completed the 2012 New York City Ironman.  He is a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, a member of the Bergen County Society, and a North Haledon baseball, softball and soccer coach.
