About My Practice

I am an independent financial advisor, i.e., I am not affiliated with any financial or insurance organizations looking to sell you financial products.  I provide individuals, families, and small businesses personalized financial advice and effective management of their financial resources to help them realize their own vision of wealth and financial well-being.

In addition to practicing financial planning since 1990, I have over 25 years experience working as a senior financial executive for some of the most prominent organizations in the financial services, management consulting, and not-for-profit sectors.  I am passionate about applying the knowledge and breadth of financial experience I've gained over these years towards helping my clients attain their financial goals and achieve "financial peace-of-mind".

Clients receive a comprehensive review and analysis of their current financial situation, e.g., their net worth, cash flow / debt , insurance, investments, taxes, trusts, estate plans, etc. Recommendations are then formulated to help the client achieve their financial goals, and to address any financial concerns or issues they may be experiencing or likely to encounter. The entire process is enumerated for the client in the form of a personalized financial plan.

I also assist the client in implementing the plan, e.g. developing and managing a diversified investment portfolio to fund goals; obtaining appropriate insurance coverages and annuities to mitigate various financial risks; developing strategies to minimize taxes, etc.

Further, since changes in the economy, tax laws, financial markets, and one's own personal circumstances are inevitable, the financial plan needs to be monitored and periodically updated to ensure it remains effective in keeping the  client on track towards achieving their financial goals.  This is why I am committed to establishing and maintaining long-term, trust-based relationships with my clients.
