Chirag Chauhan, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ When Chirag isn’t advising The Barnett Group’s clients with expert financial and investment planning strategies, he’s spending time with his wife, Mandy, and his son, Cole, golfing, running or participating in community service projects around the Mid-South. Chirag joined The Barnett Group in 2006 and now serves as a partner and director of financial services. He brings a great wealth of advice and expertise to clients by staying involved with industry organizations like the Financial Planning Association of the Mid-South, Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Medical Group Management Association and the Memphis Estate Planning Council. Chirag has also served as a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) dispute resolution arbitrator since 2009. He graduated from Rhodes College in 1998, received his master’s degree in business administration at The University of Memphis in 2002 and attained his Retirement Planning Specialist designation from the Wharton School of Business at The University of Pennsylvania. Chirag developed a passion for financial services from the beginning of his career and continues to thrive in the industry. Aside from his professional duties at Barnett, Chirag also utilizes his talents to assist local organizations around Memphis. He current serves as a member of the Methodist Germantown Hospital Advisory Council, the Opera Memphis Board of Trust and MarketingCommittee, the Orpheum Memphis Advisory Committee and Phoenix Club Board. Most recently, Chirag joined the Hickory Hill Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs of Memphis. Chirag’s other accomplishments include graduating from Leadership Memphis in 2006, being named to the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list in 2008 and consistently achieving Million Dollar Roundtable membership since 2006.
