Stone Asset Management is an independent, fee only financial planning and investment advisor firm located in Austin, Texas. Its founder, Morgan Stone, CFP, MBA has over fifteen years experience in the financial services industry. Our mission is to provide our clients with sensible and unbiased financial planning solutions with the interests of our clients always first. Our goal is to assist our clients in prioritizing and quantifying their financial goals, setting realistic expectations and implementing a disciplined and prudent strategy to achieve those goals.

Morgan Stone is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) with over fifteen years experience in the financial services industry. He is the founder of Stone Asset Management, a fee only Registered Investment Advisor Firm.

Morgan graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1992 and completed the Texas School of Trust Banking in 1996. He earned an MBA with a Personal Financial Planning concentration from St. Edward's University in 2003 and completed the Financial Planning Association Residency Program at DePaul University in 2004. Prior to founding Stone Asset Management, Morgan was Vice President of Austin Trust Company.

Morgan is a Registered Financial Advisor with the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and is member of the Financial Planning Association and the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Stephen F. Austin High School Continuing Education Foundation and is active with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Morgan has been quoted in several publications including Newsweek, BusinessWeek, Investment News and Financial Planning. He has testified before the Travis County Probate Court as an expert witness on investments and has guest lectured at the University of Texas Economics Association.
