Mr. Mayo specializes in the preparation and management of investment programs for individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations. Whether it is an inheritance, divorce settlement or 401(k) rollover, an investment program can be established which reduces risk and increases return. There are 3 ways of achieving this:
1)"Packaged Investments", such as mutual funds, variable annuities, Unit Investment Trusts, Exchange Traded Funds and independent investment managers. This will spread every dollar over many investments as opposed to having "all your eggs in one basket."
2) Dollar-cost-averaging will allow you to spread your purchases into volatile markets over time rather than potentially purchasing investments at their peak. In other words, the investor will not buy high or low over time but at an average price over time.
3) Asset Allocation will allow you to invest the "eggs into different baskets". This concept was first introduced by Harry Markowitz in the 50's, for which he won a Nobel Prize. By investing money into different TYPES of investments, the client can reduce risk and increase returns versus investing in one class of security.
Initially, Rick interviews a prospective client at no charge or obligation for 30-45 minutes to determine compatibility of goals and expectations.
