Alternative Investments for Retirement Plans

A boomer turns 50 every 7.5 seconds; this adds up to 4 million every single year-the cascade of those over 65 will double over the next thirty years to 70 million. In addition, 1 in 5 Americans suffer from some sort of disability. People in need of chronic care services (including hospitalization, rehabilitation, home care, assisted living, and nursing home) are disproportionately older persons and persons with disabilities. Navigating the health care system, obtaining quality of care and paying for it without going broke are vexing problems our client are confronting. The financial planning professional is among the primary advisors clients turn to for help when these issues arise. This program will help prepare you to understand the wide range of health care and related concerns your clients struggle with and position you to respond effectively to these client needs enabling you to provide critical value-added services. Expanding the scope of service you provide clients to include assisting with these issues will result is happier clients and client families, increased referrals and greater client retention. Additionally, some financial advisors report that sales of LTCI increase once they begin focusing on these issues.
