Refer a Colleague

As a member of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), you have a network of like-minded professionals at your fingertips. Whether you are just starting out in your career or have built your business throughout the years, there will be times when you may need extra resources, industry insight and a professional network. At FPA, we believe that the larger your network, the more connected you are to the financial planning community.

When referring new members to FPA you can:

  • Expand your network
  • Grow the profession
  • Enjoy recognition among your peers
  • Make a positive impact at the chapter level

Member-Get-A-Member Program

The 2008-2009 Member-Get-A-Member (MGAM) program at FPA has been designed with our members' best interests in mind. 

  1. Our members are our most valuable resource, and for each referral who joins FPA as a paying member, you will continue to receive a coupon toward your annual membership dues: $25 for each new professional member and $10 for each new student member or international member.

  2. The member who brings in the most new members in a quarter has an opportunity to pick from three amazing prizes, members may only win one quarterly prize between June 1, 2008, and May 31, 2009:

    -  $2,000 Gas Card
    -  $2,000 Weekend Getaway
    -  Free, all-expenses paid trip to FPA's Annual Conference

  3. At the end of the campaign, we will award the member who has referred the most new, paid members between June 1, 2008, and May 31, 2009, with an all-expenses paid trip to the Mexican Riviera.
