Marty Durbin, CPA/PFS currently serves on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association^® (FPA^®), the largest membership organization for CFP^® professionals in the country, and includes many others who support the financial planning process.

Durbin retired from First Command Financial Planning in 2010 and he is currently working on several private business ventures. Durbin’s 27-year career included a variety of leadership roles including chief financial officer, chief of staff, board member, and president/chief operating officer.

Durbin is a member of FPA of Dallas/Fort Worth chapter and recently chaired FPA’s Corporate Relations Advisory Council. Durbin also serves on the board of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Tarrant County and is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s (AICPA) Personal Financial Planning Division.

Durbin holds a bachelor’s degree in business-accounting and a MBA in finance from the University of Texas in Arlington.
