Paul Auslander, CFP^®, currently serves as volunteer chair on the board of directors for the Financial Planning Association^® (FPA^®), the largest membership organization for CFP^® professionals in the country, and includes many others who support the financial planning process.

Auslander is chairman and CEO of American Financial Advisors, Inc. in Orlando, Fla., as well as a registered representative with Foothills Securities.

Auslander has been a FPA member since 1996 and has held numerous leadership roles with FPA including serving as president of FPA of Central Florida, and board member and symposium chair of FPA of Florida. Auslander's other volunteer service includes being appointed by the state of Florida's Chief Financial Officer to serve on the nine-person Financial Literacy Council. Additionally, he was appointed to the Advisors Council of the Community Foundation of Central Florida.

Auslander attended the University of Kentucky and Columbia University, and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation in 1987.
