Richard Stumpf, MBA, CFP®, CEBS, AEP®, AIF®, currently serves on the board of directors for the the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the largest organization for personal financial planning experts in the country.
Stumpf is a financial planner at Financial Benefits, Inc., a firm in Wichita, Kansas which he founded in 1988. Stumpf specializes in comprehensive financial and estate planning for middle-income individuals, and small business retirement plans.
Stumpf is an active member or FPA of Kansas and has held many leadership positions, including 2011 president.
Stumpf has also served on the board of the Wichita Estate Planning Council and was president of the Central Kansas Planned Giving Roundtable. He was recently appointed by the Governor of Kansas to a commission recommending improvements to the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System. Stumpf has taught CFP® classes at five universities and served as chair of the national CFP Board of Education.
Stumpf holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Montana.
