Samuel Gallucci, CFP®, currently serves on the board of directors for  the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), the largest organization for personal financial planning experts in the country. He is Executive Director and Director of Financial Planning Initiatives at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Jersey City, N.J.

Gallucci has been an FPA member for 12 years and with predecessor organizations for nearly 20 years. He has served on the FPA Major Firms Advisory Committee for several years.

Gallucci has previously served on the International Standards Organization (ISO) Technical Advisory Group to develop international standards for financial planning. He has also served as a member of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. (CFP Board) of Professional Review and on the Financial Services Advisory Counsel to CFP Board. Gallucci is currently serving on the CFP Board's Business Model Working Group Task Force.

Gallucci has authored several articles for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney Publications that range from business succession to philanthropic and charitable gift planning.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Gallucci was a manager at KPMG, Peat Marwick, LLP, in their Personal Financial Planning and Tax Practice.

Gallucci earned a B.A. from Syracuse University, an M.S. from The American College and an M.B.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
