Become a Financial Planner

The CFP® Board has registered more than 150 educational programs. You can get a certificate in financial planning or enroll in a baccalaureate or graduate financial planning degree program. Completion of CFP® Board-approved programs enable individuals to sit for the CFP® certification examination.

There are many types of programs, so you can choose one that suits your needs and lifestyle. The list of registered education programs consist of:
