FPA Student Chapters

FPA is the community that fosters the value of financial planning and advances the financial planning profession.  As the financial planning profession continues to grow it is extremely important for FPA to assist students prior to entering the profession and foster their growth throughout their careers. 

FPA Student Chapters provide students the opportunity to learn about financial planning, have exposure to financial planning professionals, obtain internship and employment opportunities and develop leadership skills.  Student chapters are an incredible resource for our student members.

Women and Finance

A new community to FPA, this is a gathering place where female members of FPA can discuss a variety of different topics.  Some of the conversations held to date have focused on best practices for a woman practicing financial planning and some of the conversations have focused on how best to provide financial planning to female clients.  Mentoring, creating seminars for women, divorce planning to best serve females... these are some of the things that have been discussed to date.  To join in the conversation, click here.
