FPA Connect is a private online community where you can talk to your peers in a compliance-friendly environment.  Launched September 2011, the platform is new but already has a lot going on. 

Communities range from those organized by career stage (NexGen, Mid-Profession), to demographics (International/Cross-Border, Women & Finance) to areas of interest (Financial Literacy, Life Planning, Retirement Planning & Longevity). 

We have over 20 communities to choose from, so the ones listed here are just the beginning.  We also have some exciting communities waiting in the wings.

The community you are passionate about not yet on FPA Connect?  You are empowered to get something started.  Just click on the green plus sign under the "Communities" tab to create a gathering place for your topic.

FPA Student Chapters

FPA is the community that fosters the value of financial planning and advances the financial planning profession.  As the financial planning profession continues to grow it is extremely important for FPA to assist students prior to entering the profession and foster their growth throughout their careers. 

FPA Student Chapters provide students the opportunity to learn about financial planning, have exposure to financial planning professionals, obtain internship and employment opportunities and develop leadership skills.  Student chapters are an incredible resource for our student members.
