FPA International
FPA International is a Community of Interest for planners from around the world.
Vision Statement:
"To create a gathering place for planners, those who support planning, and educators from around the world to learn from each other and share their experiences."
Our main purposes are to:
- Support, advise and encourage one another in our professional development
- Share best practices on topics of group interest, including cross-border planning
- Share resources, ideas, and knowledge to help strengthen and promote financial planning
International Community participation agreement:
- I will follow the professional standards fo financial planning or advice put forth by my regulator or local association and will do my best to put my clients' best interest first.
- I will not mislead clients or colleagues.
- I desire to be actively involved in advancing the financial planning profession.
- I will keep all conversation confidential to this group unless otherwise agreed.
- I will not use this community to actively promote services or products.
- I will participate, support, and encourage.
- I will share my experiences, so that others may learn from them.
- I will abide by FPA Connect's Code of Conduct.
- I realize that my participation is contingent based upon the following agreement as outlined.

- Quarterly conference calls
- Face-to-face meetings – Europe meeting in spring; FPA Annual Conference in fall

Cost
- Currently complimentary. Quarterly audio calls are held through Skype.
- When the group outgrows the ability to meet through a VOIP provider, an appropriate fee to support the cost of audio teleconference participation will be assessed.
