A national nonprofit membership group, IFP was established in 1986. Its membership comes from an IFA or insurance background, wealth managers, chartered accountants, lawyers, fund managers and other advisers. The IFP is the UK's professional body which is committed to build and maintain the profession of financial planning for the benefit of consumers, whilst helping those firms and individuals involved in providing financial planning advice and guidance to their clients, in order that they can effectively fulfill their clients’ financial and lifestyle objectives.
