Share your passion and experience by getting involved in FPA! Volunteers are at the heart of FPA’s work – providing exceptional experiences and essential tools to our community. We welcome your expertise and enthusiasm in becoming a part of our active group of volunteers. We hope you will take time to review the opportunities for volunteer participation and discover ways to contribute to our profession.

The 2012 Call for Volunteers has closed but we do have other opportunities for involvement below.

Involvement

When you get involved, you contribute your unique expertise to the advancement of the financial planning profession and FPA. This past year, FPA members helped develop vibrant continuing education programming for FPA’s conferences, recognized individuals making exceptional contributions to the public and the profession, created career development tools, scholarship programs and more.

FPA Chapters: FPA’s chapters offer many local volunteer opportunities, such as helping out at a pro bono event, volunteering for committees or for the local board. Connect with your local chapter today to get involved in your area.

Pro Bono: Giving vulnerable members of our communities a helping hand by sharing our professional expertise — that's what pro bono financial planning is all about. Throughout the country, FPA chapters are working with community partners to assist those with the greatest need for and the least access to the power of financial planning.
