FPA Business Solutions 2013, offers attendees a possible maximum of 2 hours of continuing education credit, pending submission and acceptance by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.
FPA designs its programs to comply with the principles of good practice accepted by most major professions. FPA will apply for acceptance from CFP® Board and report continuing education to CFP® Board on behalf of attendees. CFP® Board has final authority on accepted sessions. Additionally, attendees may self-report continuing education credit to other designations.
Receiving Continuing Education Credits
To receive continuing education credit, you must complete and turn in a Speaker/Session Evaluation Form at the end of each session you attend. Forms faxed or mailed to FPA after the conference cannot be accepted for credit.
The form must be completely filled out to properly process. Monitors will be posted at each session to keep track of anyone that leaves during the session to ensure that the session is attended for the full duration. If you arrive at a session late or leave the session early, no CE will be awarded for that session.
Reporting Continuing Education Credits
FPA will automatically report credits to the CFP® Board within four weeks of the conference. Attendees are responsible for reporting CE credit for other designations. Four weeks following the conference, attendees may download and print a Certificate of Completion from FPA's website, www.FPAnet.org.
