Chapter Executives Pre-conference:

The Chapter Executive Pre-conference (November 10-11, 2011) is designed specifically for the chapters paid administrative support staff (chapter exeuctive, chapter administrator, etc.)

For the fourth year in a row, this pre-conference will provide attendees the ability to network with other Chapter Executives from across the country and gain valuable tools to help them support your chapter as effectively as possible. Through the sharing of great ideas related to the strategic planning process, maximizing technology and human resources and administrative challenges, Chapter Executives will come away energized and connected to a group of passionate and dedicated supporters of FPA.

In addition to this special pre-conference, Chapter Executives will be able to attend the Chapter Leaders Conference as a regular attendee, picking up additional resources specific to membership, public relations/public awareness, pro bono and programs/education. They are also being invited into the Presidents & Presidents-Elect track to discuss how to work effectively with the chapter board and overview of chapter governance responsibilities.

This session is designed to facilitate one-to-one conversations between chapter leaders and exhibiting companies for the purpose of energizing alliances.  Alliances are energized when aligning parties identify common objectives and mutually beneficial outcomes.  The goal morning is to engage in discovery conversations to determine possible alliances and opportunities to work together toward common goals.

Under the Trees:

The Chapter Leaders Conference Task Force is borrowing a highly popular element of FPA Retreat - Under the Trees - and adapting it to foster dialogue on topics related to the Roadmap to Success - Outstanding Achievement Awards.  Sample topics include career development, financial literacy, membership, programs and education, public awareness, student involvement, leadership development, etc. These meaningful conversations will be driven by you and your colleagues and may end up having a huge impact on you and your chapter!
