FPA Membership Monthly Payment Option

New in 2013, FPA is pleased to offer a valuable new service which will allow members of FPA to split up their dues payment into 12 equal monthly installments.  


How do I sign-up for the monthly payment plan option?

The online payment plan option may be selected on the application form (online or paper) when joining FPA or during your regular renewal period for existing members.  Please note that this option is only available for payments with a valid credit card.  


Which FPA member categories will this option be available?

The payment plan option is available to the following membership categories:

  • CFP® Professional
  • 2nd Year CFP® Professional
  • 1st Year CFP® Professional
  • Allied Professional-Financial Services
  • Allied Professional-Non-Financial Services 
  • Faculty


Is there a processing fee for this service?

To cover the administrative and processing fees for the monthly payment option, FPA will charge a nominal $2 fee each month when it debits the member’s credit card.


Can this monthly payment plan be applied to the chapter assessment fees as well (if applicable)?

Yes, if you would like to add your chapter assessment, it can be added to the total dues amount and your monthly installment would include your chapter assessment and $2.00 processing fee.
