Group of colleaguesAs a member of the Financial Planning Association® (FPA®), you have a network of like-minded professionals at your fingertips.

Whether you are just starting out in your career or have built your business throughout the years, there will be times when you may need extra resources, industry insight and a professional network.

At FPA, we believe that the larger your network, the more connected you are to the financial planning community.

  • Expand your network
  • Grow the profession
  • Enjoy recognition among your peers
  • Make a positive impact at the chapter level

Member-Get-A-Member Program

Here is how the Member-Get-A-Member (MGAM) program works:

For each referral that joins FPA as a paying member, you will receive:

Savings
Receive a coupon toward your annual membership dues. Save $25 for each new Financial Planner, Associated Professional, or New to the Profession member who joins and $10 for each new Faculty or full-time Student member. The more people you refer, the more you save!

Recognition
You will also earn credit toward our MGAM recognition program.  The program will run on a yearly basis to coincide with FPA's Annual Conference and will have five cumulative levels:

  • 1-star: Refer 3–5 paying members
  • 2-star: Refer 6–9 paying members
  • 3-star: Refer 10–14 paying members
  • 4-star: Refer 15–19 paying members
  • 5-star: Refer 20 or more paying members
